California editors want to meet you!

You are invited to come, put your best foot forward and meet some of California's top editors. This is THE job fair for journalists trying to get a job and California editors looking for the right people to add to their staffs. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with editors, talk about positions available at newspapers and qualifications needed to get the job done. Newspaper editors will talk about jobs they have open right now.

There is no registration fee for job seekers who wish to attend and no registration form to fill out. Journalists with all levels of experience are invited. Editors will be looking at entry-level candidates as well as more experienced journalists.

Newspapers are registering now for recruiting tables. The following will be attending:

The fair will be held at the The Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, California. The Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf is located near Pier 39, the Cannery and Ghirardelli Square. It is 18 miles from San Francisco International Airport. Be there beginning at 1:30 pm. There are no preassigned or scheduled interviews, but there is plenty of time to meet with each editor and talk about your qualifications. Bring copies of your resume and clips to leave with editors. Editors will be available until 4:30 pm.
