2005 National Conference for Media Reform

The conference will bring together activists, media creators, academics, and policy-makers for three days of learning, sharing, networking and momentum-building.
Participants will:
Learn about media policy in the United States and abroad and discuss visions for a more public-interest-oriented media system in the United States; Build skills for media reform activism; Discover "who's doing what" in various sectors of media reform activism and hear about models for successful campaigns and actions; Discuss goals and strategies for advancing positive media policy and increasing public participation in media policy-making; Network and meet others interested in media reform.
The conference program will include three days of panel presentations, workshops, and discussion sessions, as well as a reception, video screenings, book signings, and keynote speeches and musical entertainment by renowned guests.
