Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals Scholarships
$20,000 in scholarships to 10 Hispanic students majoring in journalism or communications. Applicants must reside in the Greater Houston Area and plan to attend, full-time, a community college or university within the U.S. or Puerto Rico.

Newspaper Association of America® Foundation Student/Newspaper Partnership Grants
These grants will provide seed money to help establish or revive student newspapers.

17th Annual CIIJ Journalism Job and Internship Fair
The 17th Annual CIIJ Journalism Job and Internship Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 24 from 9 am to 4 pm at SF State's Jack Adams Hall.

2005-2007 Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Graduate Fellowship
A two-year fellowship to a qualified Native American student beginning his or her graduate studies in the fall 2005 semester.
