Volunteer Citizen Journalists Needed June 2

Student volunteers, especially citizen journalists are needed to capture stories of community successes at the 8th Annual Craigslist Boot Camp for Communities on Thursday, June 2nd at UCSF’s Mission Bay’s Conference Center. Volunteers will gain Free admittance to the all-day event and be assigned to specific sessions to capture stories they hear.
Boot Camp sessions will:
- provide collaboration techniques for working across teams, organizations and sectors
- hone leadership instincts
- explore the fundamentals of community and organization impact
- address how to better work with government
- discuss community resiliency and sustainability
- build storytelling skills to raise funds, awareness and interest in your cause
- unlock social media tools and resources
- stretch your fundraising skills
- give you networking opportunities!
ICCE is a partner at this event and will have an exhibit table. Come by!
